Medical Fitness Programs

Cancer: The Cancer Medical Fitness Program, you will have the resources to gain strength, confidence, and emotional well-being!  This program is led by one of our Exercise Physiologists that is with you every step of the way. During the 8-week program, you will get expert advice from our nutritionist and education weekly! We will focus on sustaining muscle mass, creating healthy habits, and cultivating a beneficial lifestyle to help to hit your post treatment goals.

Bariatric: The Bariatric Medical Fitness Program, our mission is to help you hit your weight goals either pre or post bariatric surgery! With the help of our Exercise Physiologists and Nutritionist, you will receive 8 weeks of guided support that lines up with the path you are on. As we set your goals, implement lifestyle changes, and lead you through our programs, you will see and feel self-improvement week to week!

Prenatal: The Prenatal Medical Fitness Program, you will get the support from one of our Exercise Physiologists through every trimester. With your body constantly changing, each trimester block is curated to exactly that! Our goal is to give new moms the fitness and wellness guidance they need to make their pregnancy as smooth as possible. It’s important to focus on mom’s health as well! Education provided by UMC Team Rehab on pelvic health will assist in preparation, aiding in delivery. Our upbeat Dance, Spin, Pilates, and Yoga will help you feel energized and ready to take on anything!

Postnatal: The Postnatal Medical Fitness Program, our goal is to guide you in starting or continuing your health journey as a new mom! We want to focus on creating healthy habits, building a workout routine that works for your new busy schedule, and providing you with education that will benefit your overall well-being! With direct partnership from UMC Team Rehab, recovery and rebuilding pelvic strength is one of our main focuses. Our Exercise Physiologists are here for you every step of the way with a two-block program.

Diabetes: TheDiabetes medical fitness program, we want to give you all the resources you need to help you create a healthy lifestyle and assist in managing your diabetes! Our Exercise Physiologist lead programs are targeted to help you manage your weight, build muscle, and increase your activity level. Advice and education will be provided by our nutritionist on diet choices will help you reach your fitness goals and also regulate your blood sugar!

Hypertension: In our Hypertension Medical Fitness Program, you will have the opportunity to improve your blood pressure and overall health! Within this program you will have an exercise plan built by our exercise physiologists, access to our nutritionist, and be provided with education to improve your health.
